Building Your List With Giveaways
Hello,
A while since I posted, busy with my engineering job, and the Masterclass course, but I thought I’d just run a quick post on a way to start building an optin email list relatively easily if you have a website you can add products to.
Giveaway events allow you to contribute products free for people to download by signing up to your list. You can use products you have acculumated on your hard drive, as long as you check the license to make sure they allow you to give them away. Most PLR products allow this. Obviously it is better if you have actually changed them and made them your own, and add your own links in the product, but for speed and just for list building purposes it is not necessary, and it does not take much to add a product to your website with ftp and then use that as your free product for the giveaway event. I have added quite a few extra signups to my small but growing lists.
One giveaway event that is currently running is:
It works by allocating points which you use to add gifts, and you can upgrade to be able to add special offers and more gifts. I know many people are busy with the course but with a little work you canadd something and then forget about it and hopefully get some list signups while you’re busy on your course.
Just a thought anyway.
Good luck with everything
Regards
Dave

Hi Dave,
I took a look at this but as with most things on the net I wasn’t too sure what I was doing. I do find there are too few instructions with these things for those of us who haven’t ‘been there before’. I’d love it if they put a tab there called ‘New to this? Look here first’ and give really clear directions to the newbies. Thanks for the hint though.
Enjoy the journey.

Hello Mandy,
Thanks, you’ve actually given me an idea there, as I’ve spent a lot of time doing things the hard way learning to edit webpages for things like this (I would have been far better spending time going through an ebook I think to learn more before I tried things), but at least now I may be ideal to write about it from a newbies point of view (as I consider myself most definitely in that category!). I’ll think about writing a guide (with videos if I download and use Camtasia which I’ve been planning to do for ages but not got round to it). Might even do it for my course project.
Good luck
Dave
