New Year clean up

A Happy New Year to you all, and hope you’ve not suffered too badly with the snow, both here in UK and elsewhere as I understand there’s been very heavy snowfall in the States and many other countries. As usual for a country that is supposedly used to bad weather, whenever there’s a few inches of snow here things can grind to a halt, though it’s been worse this year as our weather service is heavily involved with the global warming extremists and so was predicting a mild winter with their dodgy computer prediction models. Result, not enough grit and salt and chaos on the roads.

Still, if it’s difficult to get out then a good excuse for doing a bit of internet marketing, and being the new year when you’re supposed to be making resolutions, one of mine was to go through all my numerous under utilised websites, memberships and affiliations that have crept up on me. It’s amazing what you end up with. So, I’m going through cancelling domains I set up and haven’t used, deleting useless websites I set up but haven’t the time to market and basically trying to reduce to a manageable portfolio of products. Cancelling memberships I don’t need or don’t have time to use, including some good ones, as it’s a waste of money if you don’t have time to make use of the information and tools you’re paying for.

After all this I’ll be concentrating on a few sites and marketing methods, and spending more time on what I should be doing, which is creating products.

I hope this will be a little nudge for anyone else who’s got unused websites and memberships they’re paying for. It’s worth a bit of time going through it all and throwing out anything you’re paying for that you don’t need.

Good luck
