Hello again,

A little while back I ran a post about organising your hard drive (or mine to be precise!). Well, I still haven’t, but I have come across something to help me.

It’s a software program called ‘Promo Buddy’ by Detlev Reimer and it looks like it will do everything I need. You can enter just about any data you want, from websites with all the information you may want to refer to such as DNS settings, date domain was purchased, host, cost, etc etc, plus a one click link to open the website, also articles including the article itself, title, resource box data etc, then there’s an area for entering details of products, sales, customers etc, each individual category opens up a page to enter all the data in.

The program is free, just requires signing up to the newsletter, well worth it for a program as useful as this.

If you decide to try it I hope it proves useful. I’m sure it will help me. One final note is that it is a Windows program, for most people that won’t be a problem. I use linux most of the time but do keep a copy of WinXP I can bring up in a virtual window when I need it, and for a program as useful as this I’m prepared to do that. Fingers crossed I may even get all my Internet Marketing material organised at last!
