Quick post tonight, as my day job is quite hectic at the moment. I just wanted to repeat something that has been told to me many many times. The importance of creating your own products.

Yes. there are many opportunities to promote and sell other people’s products on the web (via affiliate opportunties or buying resell rights to their material), or get commissions for driving traffic to ebay (more on that in a later post), but whether or not you’re using these other methods, you should always look to be aiming to make your own products. You can start with ebooks (have a look at this report to get you started:7 Magic Steps) and then think about videos and audio later (both increasing popular but a bit harder to set up than ebooks, though plenty of help available).

Once you have your own products, you know that no-one else is selling the same material, you’re more likely to be able to sell at a decent price instead of having to almost give it away to make a sale, and if they’re good products you standf a chance of building a loyal responsive mailing list.
